What started as an event in Sydney in 2007 with 2 million people has now become a global event with hundreds of millions of people in more than 150 countries set to turn their lights off.

It's all about our environmental footprint which we must all consider. Renewable energy sources, Green living, Recycling, eco friendly choices we make in our every day lives.

We only have one known planet in our solar system which can support life. We all need to make a change for a healthy world. We all need to be working towards a common goal to limit our impact on our planets resources. This is reality. This is the way of the future.
